Well if the pistons have the raised pin height for the added stroke then I would assume they would have been marked for 8.5:1 CR w 92mm stroke. If not it'll raise from 8.5 to 9.3ish..
Also you'l...
With the larger studs and step deck head there should be absolutely no sealing issues. Not to mention the fact that with the extra bore you'll be making more power with lower boost pressures ......
I'd say bore all day. Your going to retain the ability to rev high. Your actually going to increase the flow of the head by having the larger diameter, putting the valves further from the cylinder ...

Swwet! That was my original plan with my 12.5:1 2.3 but when it made such good power I decided to stay NA. Now I'm thinking about it again. Good stuff!
More likely should be a 2.375 or 2.25 choke.. but yeah. Almost anything will be an upgrade from the ssac.
Maybe others had bad luck. But I loved my b15 disk with act HD pressure plate. I have been running the same disk for years now. Tons of mid 11 second passes and a lot of street use. I've been using...
N1 cams and you should be at 200 whp with a good tune
I'm curious who told you that. Would you also believe the n1 valve cover makes more whp ... ijs
Back on the header topic though. The transiant response is another factor. Especially for road racing which is why I bring it up. Generally the smaller primaries may look to make less on the dyno,...

Will coolant passages be drilled or will these remain solid(no coolant) style blocks?

Yeah, running full exhaust after the reverse cone will inhibit its ability to help at all.. but if you put a vband or flange at the end of the reverse cone then you can use it on the dyno / track a...
If your asking if a reverse cone at the end of your full exhaust will gain hp, no.
Also the reverse cone will loose its effect if its routed back into a full exhaust.

I don't think anyone is hiding information. I really don't think there are people producing a ton of manifolds. It seems like if you want one either you build it yourself or your pay someone to do ...
Since 5th gear comes off the stack why doesn't anyone make a cuff in place of fifth gear that holds the shafts together? Is there a reason why no one does this? I feel like it would really hold th...
You realize that's just the upper section right? How is it too short/
You can get the "hot cams" kits on ebay, or I prefer your local Harley Davidson dealer. Their vrod motors actually use shims that are a perfect match available in different sizes...and very cheap.
Its very straight forward. Its been covered a lot, I know I've gone through and explained it before .. but basically all you need is a feeler gauge, and shims. The thing to remember is only do one ...
