Who here uses a cosworth head gasket?
So I blew my head gasket recently and I've been Searching for a good replacement. I decided to go with the cosworth but I have some issues. I found a 87mm 1.5mm thick. My motor is bone stock 86mm sr20det bluebird. I found some people that used the 87mm on the 86mm and say its fine. What I wanna know is How many people out there currently using a cosworth hg or any other , what the motor bore and hg bore, hg thickness, what mods are done on the motor ie pistons, how long has it been installed, and how much psi is are you boosting on a daily basis. Ty for the info.

I personally am using the vet hg. But I have a cosworth 87mm hg I'm Saving for just in case purposes. I was told the 87mm will work fine also.

The cosworth headgasket is awesome...Ive used them on many many builds with zero failures. Its a great gasket for the money. Like most said though the VET gasket is also an awesome gasket for the money as well...Cant go wrong with either. Dont worry about the bore and thickness. I used the 87mm 1.1 on all the builds including my old simple built DE-T setup and never any issues.

I have the Cosworth 87mm on an 86mm build from 10 years ago - no problems at all. Also have the Cosworth 87mm on a 86.5mm build from 1999 - no problems at all.

^ good to hear as I have a Cosworth 87mm HG along w/ their head studs that will be used on a "mild" 86.5mm DET build here shortly...these parts have been collecting dust for a few years.
