As far as setting the timing goes its not much different from stock or nistune or calum
I think the N1 Exessive kit wont work for boosted applications the P11 will be more than fine once ported!! And there its plenty of options as far of injectors for 500whp E85 its not even necessary...
ok I'll change my bet.
I'll vote for needing to repin the ecu connector.
DE ecu and VE ecus have different pin outs.
2.0 rods are used. Nobody runs the 1.6 rods.
SR16 Non N1 pistons = 13.5:1 CR. Give or take, some say 13.2:1.
SR16 N1 pistons = 12.5:1 CR.
This is based on using the 2.0 crank and rods.
Another thing that should be mentioned is that it is not difficult to make a 3" exhaust quiet as long as it's done properly. Don't skimp out on mandrel bent tubing, a quality resonator, and a prope...
Youre exactly right. I think these guys are still falling for that old myth, you need back pressure blahhh blahhh. Like I said as long as the header is designed properly there should be nothing bu...
The head of the N1 is supposed to have been shaved 1mm from Nissan.
Bigger camshaft profile needs more clearance for safety.
BC cams are hit or miss at best. Brad on here had several issue with the cam profile being off by alot! Some may need degreeing, while others don't. In all honesty, go with the Tomei setup

Are you sure the cams are switching?
NismoTronic 3.7.00 Update: Startup Calibration Downloader
car won't start after cam install
It is a slippery slope, ive been through it. I ended up doing a full rebuild and then some. You could get away with just swapping pistons and rings, no need for rods as the stock ones will be fine....
Kinda seems like it's only there to ensure oil isn't flung out the oil filler hole if the cap was off, which it shouldn't be if the motor is running.
There are other cams that have been proven to make more money. Nobody wants to spend the money on them for the gains that they give is the issue.
Don't have a startup TCD that fits your setup? Look in here!
