DE ecu and VE ecus have different pin outs.

2.0 rods are used. Nobody runs the 1.6 rods.

SR16 Non N1 pistons = 13.5:1 CR. Give or take, some say 13.2:1.

SR16 N1 pistons = 12.5:1 CR.

This is based on using the 2.0 crank and rods.

It is a slippery slope, ive been through it. I ended up doing a full rebuild and then some. You could get away with just swapping pistons and rings, no need for rods as the stock ones will be fine....
