sr20ve p12 new engine build
hi . as you may not i bolting together a new engine for my buggy.
picked up a brand new p12 bottom end. just had a call from the guy servicing the head and he asked for the valve clearance. had a search and came up with these specs.

in .2mm
ex.4mm all done cold with n1 cams.
this is a race motor.
what are peoples thoughts on these clearances

build is p12 bottom end factory brand new, serviced head with n1 cams and bc dual springs and retainers. bmw 50mm throttle bodys custom headers and tuned on a haltech ps1000 ecu. and head held down with maz work head stud kit and running a vet metal gasket.
should have the head back in few days.

i will start to add some photos as progress happens not much to look at the moment. just a new block with pistons and crank.

i can sell you the file and make as many as you like then. it needs a little work to get it right. the mounting bolts are incorrect and the bottom of the runner needs to be lifted 2mm
