I'm experiencing the same thing just haven't had time to disassemble yet. I always tighten with an impact, using short 'blips'...and you can tell when it is fully tight because the sound changes....

I had an issue with my progress bar hitting the shock body when I attempted to install it too, as did 'nah-soosah-emem-yeb' nsusammyeb ...the outside tabs seemed a bit too wide.
