@zeneffect has something in the works to use w/his Nismotronics...if he wants to divulge, he'll chime in.

Using a hp stream 7 tablet with a mountech snap 3 mount. Fits perfect doesn't come disconnected on hard runs and runs nismotronic flawlessly. You just need to purchase a separate adapter but otherwise it's plug and play. If you don't like the interface of s tablet it has Bluetooth to hook up a mouse and keyboard as well.

The tablet is only $99 @ Amazon. The mount is another 30 and the cable was $6 for two of them. Bluetooth keyboard and touchpad combos run about 15

Nice I was wondering about something like that. I will be looking into that, thanks for the idea.

Just be aware that realtime gauges don't react as fast as playback as it should without a little tweaking. Basically you will exploit the turbo core on the tablet by assigning nismotronic core affinity to 0. I have it setup in a shortcut.

C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /C start /affinity 1 C:\NismoTronicSA\NismotronicSA.exe

This keeps nismotronic from bouncing from core to core and keeps the tablet running at full speed rather than throttle as low as 500mhz

So with it done like that it runs as fast as my laptop would run it? That will be a bad ass option to mount that and be able to monitor EVERYTHING at all times.

I'm probably going to have to run it off the laptop for a little while. But I will definitely being swapping to that setup before March or April when the track opens back up.

Pretty much yes there is another thing I'm going to try to add expandibility and have it charge at the same time. It will make other expansion options availabe for creature comforts.

Since your setup is a very basic one, I'd say that starting from the base tunes alone would be just fine. If you stress too much about it, get the e-tune.

Hell, I started a SR20VE-T, 10.3:1 compression, T25; with just base tunes

Nice, keep me updated on your progress. I will be doing this. So about how long does it stay running on a charge?

Its going to depend on how much money I have to play with at the time when I order the board. I'm ordering my 5 lug hubs Friday, I already have J30 rotors and calipers for the front, and I'm going to drill my rear rotors for the swap. So if I have enough cash I will go with the etune. If not it won't hurt because I'm running on the stock tune now.

MSpnp is better because its not a 25 year old board.

That's debatable, considering your running all of this in a chassis that's almost as old!
