Exactly right. People are still having coolant loss with silicone hoses because the water molecules can pass through the material. The type of antifreeze is irrelevant to that fact.
Now, there...

Until I hear otherwise, that's my Go-To article on silicone hoses. Unless some ma...
Looking at the graphic that SE-RMonkey posted above, while not a B13, the lines aren't too different from our cars, and can serve as a decent example. I did some Googling and didn't find anything...
Phil (AKA Murilee, the author of that piece) will love my restored SE-R when I get it to the track. Maybe you'll see me in Autoweek. ;)
Well get your ass to the junk yard there and pull some p...
That fits my theory that the breaker was already popped, and the battery was out of the circuit. You increased the current draw, and the alternator all by itself couldn't keep up.
I regret that I can only Like this post once. ;) Great info to have online.
OK. I'm going over electrical flow in my head here, but the only way that this makes sense is if the breaker had already popped BEFORE you turned the car off. Let me explain...

Main reasons for relocating the battery are to make room for other things up front (air intake usually) or to balance out the weight by putting the battery in the passenger/rear corner. If neither...
I really think you had an intermittent short which is what was causing the old breaker to trip. Without that protection, you've got nothing to prevent the battery from dumping full power into a s...

Totally agree with what SE-RMonkey just said. If that power cable going to the trunk has gotten crimped somewhere and is shorting out, this is likely the source of your random problems with the o...
OK, oil light came on which means low pressure. Most likely sludge was clogging things up causing this. Did you happen to change the filter as well?
You added Sea Foam, which is good stuff, bu...

Do you happen to have a better pic of the wires as they hooked to the switch? There would have been no reason for a ground wire to be attached to the switch from the battery at all. The battery n...

Would work best? Nismotronic, no question.

That is most certainly an SE-R shift boot, the rubber version was what shipped in the first few weeks of production. I posted [url= URL=http://www.sr20-forum.com/classifieds-oem-parts/78244-wts-au...

I'm going to add some additional info here, if you end up needing a right angle PCV valve, there is probably a good chance you will need one of these to make the connection back to the intake manif...
