A more simple way is to weld a brace onto the motor mount/shifter bracket and bolt the other end to one of the 14mm bolts by the bottom of the oilpan. I used an old altenator bracket for this on my...

I did this as well way back in the day...the tranny is currently out if you need any more pics. I also had the gears cryo treated and shot-peened for added strength when I had the Quaife installed.

if you could post up pics that would be great. seeing i have my car down due to tranny problems i minus well beef it up while its out.

It is not an after market header. I had it ceramic coated to help with cooling and make it look prettier.

Where are you switching your cams? Is it around 5400 RPM? If so, it looks like your setup might want to hold the low cams a little longer and switch over to the high cams maybe around 6000 RPM o...
