Some people just don't have a clue. My dad told me as a child, you cant fix stupid.

Even more so the people who continue to compare everything to what the guys do in PR, stating the car should be "faster".

crazy how much the engine snaps back on the launch, what dropped out onto the track on the first run going into 3rd?

Who knows. Probably was a loose bolt that fell inside the back motor mount when doing tranny swaps. I think I left like one or two of the short 14's that go in the middle, just replaced, and never bothered to get them out.

Fabbing some kind of tubular mounting cradle? Or some kind of fixed mount off the k member?

Something along those lines. Once I have the motor/trans in position I will see what I can come up with. It will help me down the line when I build an engine diaper since it should give me a little more clearance and allow it to tuck up close to the motor allowing more ground clearance.
