100% correct. Even with the VE plate adapters, we still had to port some to make them align better. Regardless, if they DO make the VE ITB's they wont even consider it until April of 2014 according to them. We shall see. Their issue is that supposedly they can not get their hands on a lot of VE heads...

Payu, will you still be using the VE adapter plates or are you going to make it a direct bolt on by cutting off the flange and welding a new one?

That would make sense - VE heads are very expensive here (alot of time, upwards of $2,000). Usually end up needing to import an entire engine yourself.

Also, call me naive but couldn't you attribute the differences in the port to the fact that you're replacing a cast part with a machined one?

I am going to start by sayin these ITB's are a pain in the ass for the SR20VE maybe they will worrk like a charm for a SR20DE they have wayy to many fitment issues first the port misalingment then the spacer and the actual ITB that goes on the passenger side needs to be modified so it clears the watter temp sensor housing. Then I had to drill all bodies to get a vacumm source. I had issues triying to sync the bodies since I dont have the tool to do the sync. After two days working on the ITB's I decided to get a shot and take it to the Dyno and results are dissapointing!!! With my previus Intake setup I had previous best of 248whp 170ft/lb with the ITB setup Ihade 239whp 172ft/lb
Here a pic of the final product after ported!!

Here was my previous best Dynograph

Here its the ITB Dynograph

The setup installed

So be my guess!!
