Well, case in point, guys around these parts are pushing 400+whp reliably on DE blocks, which have no squirters. No issues with detonation.

Indeed, it's all about your goals. If you want under 300whp I feel like you can't beat DE for the price.

The DE comes out cheap simply because they are turbo motors, even RR has very low overlap ...

Well I'm getting ready to pull the VE out and drop in the old RR, then put a disco on it. Not getting the power or gas mileage I want out of VE to justify the much higher price tag to run a VE.

I might will be interested in purchasing your intake cam actually! I have a theory (based on FSM numbers) and want to prove it. I have a G20 RR in my garage, but I think it needs a good rebuild, ...
