I don't think Ashton read the article or know who Rockwood is ;)
From a road racer myself where having used a B15 SE box in a T3 turboed B14 on track, it's almost pointless to even consider the 6 ...
making a streetable cam tahst drops in without any head work (assuming thats the idea) that can beat the n1 aint as easy as one would think too.... that in itself would take time
Typically Shawn, once braking, the rear becomes light and it becomes even more susceptible to brake lockup as you have no weight to keep the tires planted!
With a much more aggressive pad (or in t...
Both of these. You really want to watch the rear bias. FWIW on the race cars I run an agressive pad up front (xp8 or 10) and something soft on the back (like OE) just to keep the car stable under h...
I wonder if the SE-R will come back out. Although these days maybe the Versa is the closest thing to that old SE-R goodness. I will be rocking my classic proudly. The B13 SE-R is the best Sentra Ni...

Damn reese that sucked. I am glad you got it figured out. This is why I have always labeled my harness before I take the motor out.

Because of the header. The way I see it now, with Jamie dropping 259whp using it, I think the forum was simply not ready for it. They bought it thinking it would be a saving grace and when they did...
Rev to 8500rpm, put the limiter at 9000rpm. Hold the gear if you have to on the track, or during first gear. But when I bumped the limiter to 9k is when the engine really seemed to come alive with ...

I would go with a 15" due to a wider selection of tires. The 16" rim will fill up the fender wells better though with out lowering the car too much.
Agreed - I hate that damn sound.

Every state reports differently. Mileage was reported when new in SC and when it changed hands in VA. Bottom line? That report doesn't prove the car has 47K on it any better than the pictures and o...
Buying a car to get a piece of ass?...again, not what these cars are about.
If I was worried about my "image", I wouldn't have a Sentra, either.
Where else can you find a 47,000 mile, original, bone stock classic? It's not like you can swing into the local dealer and find one on the lot.
Shame of it is some idiot kid will probably get h...
Id rather buy a motor with 70K that had the oil changed than a motor with 30K that did not have the oil changed. Inspection before you buy will tell you a lot. Pop the valve cover, it will tell you...
To use the VE pulley on a DE you need to grind down part of the oil pump/front cover. Its not much but the pulley will hit if you do not. I would not use a DE pulley on a VE, its larger for a reason.

Again, Im not doubting the k20 and f20/f22 are great motors. There is a lot of things I like about them. Real Street Performance just tore apart their stock f20 motor that they have been running f...
Adding up the totals, he is probrably dead on with where I am with this build.
Regardless of platform, NA is not cheap.
Cam, cam, cam, cam, cam.
Cam selection/rocker ratio are of the largest advantages.
What if I told you there is a 315+ crank HP 2.0L VE around?
