If you're in Los Banos gotta hit up Hot City BBQ.
I'll be doing my PS pump and some maintenance at Pit Row DIY in San Jose either March 1 or 8 if anyone wants to check it out.
Sure. More boost will do it, or a T28, or a UK 10:1 motor. 250whp isn't a hard # to hit with some careful part selection and a good tune.
edit; I mean honestly you can hit 250 with a bunch of lou...
I wanted to congratulate you on the purchase.
For me I hate working on the P series front suspension until you push it into a corner. That feels awesome. On a personal level I strongly prefer the...
So now we're back to "I don't like the way it sounds " what's next? "I just don't agree with that lifestyle?" lol :poke:
for the record I do love the way a B13 handles in snow. B14 not as much.
I love the AWD. Finally came in handy after we got some rain.
Does Mitsubishi even still sell cars in North America? Subaru outsells Mitsubishi like 8;1 and growing.
Recent Subaru NA growth is exponential and went right through a giant recession and a tsu...
I know man the thing starts at like 5pm so I'll probably go at like 5:30. I'll shoot for March.
Took the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. But it's not exactly street legal, so keep it on the down low.

Hum-bug! It should come faster and cost $40 and fit in a medium priority flat-rate box and make 40whp on any setup and come with a free set of OEM B13 mudflaps!

That's awesome Leng. I should have steered you toward TF sooner Dave... don't know what I was thinking.
That should be a realistic expectation. 2500lb 250hp $25k and I'll be greedy and ask for 6sp hlsd and a crash test rating in line w/ BRZ/FR-S
I view the VE as a between motor, as it straddles the end of the B-series run and the early K-series.
In terms of potential the VE just doesn't have the support from enthusiasts to where only a...
The Wanna-BRE one is too busy to tell and the beige one is too ugly to look at.
ITs the best thing I've seen from them in awhile but I'd really have to see a closer to road version and hopefu...
If you want my advice... don't use any old B13. You need a really clean mostly stock SE-R with under 100k. All original; otherwise it won't work.
Dunno Jordan, I'm in the "how did you put your mom in that car?" school of thought. Castle nut and cotter pin is there to prevent that failure. Kind of surprised you didn't have those on in the fir...
Wow glad you are ok. Spring for castle nuts and cotter pins while you're at it. You can't run without them.
You can do it with unbolting just the strut, and sway bar leaving the tie rod end and ball joint attached on either side. You just have to figure out the right angle, and bend the cv joint a bit. I...
I'm a big believer in the "freak motor" and my thinking is that motors that were broken in hard tend to be the stronger ones. SRs are very variable and I've had a few that were like "holy moly this...
