To use the VE pulley on a DE you need to grind down part of the oil pump/front cover. Its not much but the pulley will hit if you do not. I would not use a DE pulley on a VE, its larger for a reason.

Check the oil pickup in the pan. Even a Miko motor shows up with crud blocking the screen. Mine did anyway.

i just redid the a/c in my b-13, it had r-12 so i did the retro to r-134a.

bought the following..
expansion valve - 16 bucks
ester oil for r134a - 10 bucks
drier - 25 bucks
o-ring kit - 7 bu...

Using bc 272 cams. here is my set up so far..

engine specs are as follows...

lower -decked 53j block -tapped for oil return -drilled/tapped for 1/2 inch headbolts -new 8cw crank -gtir oil pump -...

if you have stock gtir pistons they are actually 8:5.1 they are only 8:3.1 with a gtir head.

We can't have a convention unless it is in HI and we have 2 drift events.
