You can't swap axles between the cars, IIRC because the hubs are different, but the transmission is the same. If any sensors are different, they should be able to be swapped with those...

Yeah, do not use a ft-lb torque wrench on cam cap bolts. Only an in-lb one.

either a bad torque wrench or all threads needed to be chased and the holes cleaned out.

Way too much force used to tighten them down.
