The GTX wheel's advantage is not that it is billet, it's the aerodynamic design, which could be cast and would have the same benefit. In case there was some confusion.

As far as I know the GTX turbos improve upon the GT turbos with new compressor wheels. I believe the exhaust sides are identical, so I don't think that side would change.
