Wow man kudos to you! Hopefully you find your other parts. How was the thief reacting to you bringing the cops?

When I posted that my car had gotten stolen, this random new person signed up on the forum, and posted a reply to my thread that was a little fishy. His name was http://www.sr20-forum.com/members/stayfree.html According to his fake profile on here he is from FREEattlelantavegas, and he works as a FREEmason. Obviously this guy thinks he's real slick.

With the help of some forum members I was lead to find out he also had an alias on the NorthwestNissans.com forum which is mainly a Seattle area thing. His name on that forum is View Profile: sippinhenny - Northwest Nissans Using that info I was able to pull up one of his classified ads with his phone number Example fs: s13 sr wire harness (206-853-5311 by the way if you feel like a prank call).

I took that phone number and google'd it to find his Myspace profile, eventually coming up with his name (Jacob Manalang). At this point I didn't know what to do with the info so I gave up and resorted to searching Craigslist hoping to find some parts.

Some months then go by, and I hear of this website called Spokeo you can you use to track people's addresses down by their names. I punched his last name in, and sure enough a Seattle listing under Manalang comes up. It wasn't his name, but being as he's a loser I figured he lived with his parents.

A week later my brother, and I go to his house, and sure as shit there is a B13 sitting on the street with what looks to be my shit on it. Upon further inspection I verified he had my wheels (which he painted black), my IC, Rear Swaybar, and even my steering wheel. All visible from the outside.

Call the Seattle PD, and they send some officers. I showed them the pictures matching my parts, and told them the story of how I found the place. With that info, and the fact that the guy swapped vin plates on the dash with screws they decide to knock on his door.

This lazy worthless human being comes out in his pajamas, and the cops start questioning him. They ask him to pop his hood, and as you might guess there was my engine, and intercooler setup. They arrested him, and towed the car to impound.

After a frustrating total nightmare of an investigation which could easily fill several pages itself the detectives prove the parts are mine, and get the car towed to a shop where I get to have all of my shit taken off of the car. Stripped everything that was mine (dash, seats, gauges, engine, wheels, swaybar, ST bar, IC and piping), and send that bitch back to the tow yard on some stock b13 wheels.

My suspension, brakes, body, cf hood, and a few other items are missing still. I know his friend (who is a former member of this forum) was involved amnd likely has the rest of my parts. I'm still investigating that further to this day. Eventually they will slip up too, and I'll be there with a couple police officers to bust his ass too.

So there you go haha. Here are some fun pics of him getting arrested and his car getting stripped just for proof. FUCK THIEVES!

Stealing somebody's vehicle (especially a highly modified work) is nothing short of disgusting!

It's nice to hear some positivity come out of a story like this. I am glad you followed up with the police and got some of your stuff back. Just out of curiousity, what was he charged with and did he have to serve any time in the slammer?

I'm sure he got out of jail that day. At the worst he probably got possession of stolen property which is barely a slap on the wrist. I would much rather prefer he had his hand cut off, but you can't always get your wish.

It was extemely satisfying to see him arrested in front of his family though. Even if nothing happened to him with the law he should be ashamed for bringing that shit so close to the rest of his family.

In the end i'll get over it, because i'm not a lazy god forsaken theif, and I work for what I have. I'll eventually have a nicer vehicle, and this will be a memory. This guy, and his friends will continue to be losers, and the only way they could hope to have things as nice as mine is to steal them. They basically admitted that they have failed at life, resorting to stealing a $5000 car which they could easily have had if they worked like a normal person. What a fucking loser.
