I have a cat, and i can pass emissions, but i choose to reg in the middle of nowhere because i dont beleive in paying the joke of a deq.

LOL, also since everyone of my DET's have always passed w/o a cat, does that mean my det's have always ran top notch? LOL

Its not about the 20 bucks, its that the deq is a joke, and money making oppurtunity for the states. As i was told by a car tech i used to work with, there is no real need for them, but the state knows a money making oppurtuinty when they see it. Hell washington state is goign to end their program ina few years, because it was only supposed to be a bout a 5 year program.

Yes Dan both states (OR/WA) are making a killing operating a facility that charges $20 per car and employs 5-7 people at a time with a bunch of sophisticated equipment and credit card machines and all the other expenses...

I know I'm on the business tip these days but if you think the state makes money on that you are sniffing glue.

I know i can pass, but like i said, its a fucking joke, every time i go theres been a line, and 3 people working,with 15 bucks per car, 3 cars pays probally more than they all make in a freaking hour. Im glad in 2020 they are shutting them down finally.And anyone that talks shit about people who bypass smog is just jelly.
