Need an Oregon mechanic
I have a 91 Sentra SE-R with a blown U13 SR20DET and i have had nothing but trouble since starting the swap 2 years ago. The mechanic i had do the work didn't do it right and wasn't able to figure out what was wrong so i'm looking for a mechaninc to swap in a new engine with my turbo, intercooler etc.

If anyone knows of someone who has done this swap before i'm in the albany area but i am willing to travel if needed. I was about to sell my car and give up but its just too much fun so i've decided to stick with it and get it done right.

Also where is a good place to pick up a used SR20DE motor since my U13 is toast.

That's a lot for a USDM even with JDMish low miles.

He goes "This is not a Japanese import so no worries on having to order parts from Japan for install." What?

I sold the DE from my 92 for $50 and it was running well with good compression.

PNWSER on the other forum may have a motor, he's in Vancouver wa and Debunk on the other forum gets soko motors. Two pretty good local and cheap sources.

Also I heard there's a classic in the u-pull it in Boring Or. No idea what's the condition.

soko is a very good and reliable engine distributor in california. Forum guys have been getting their motors for years.
