Thread: Portland I need a favor... PLEASE!

There is a g20 in Portland that I am looking into getting ... the guy doesn't have any pictures of his car, and cannot take pictures because of a broken camera.

I was wondering if someone in the area could take a look at the car for me, take pictures and then post them up so I could see... before going all the way to Oregon and end up not wanting it at all...

Ill give the guy a call tommorrow, and if I can get off work before dark (which I usually do) and he can show it, I can head over there and check it out.

Heres pics of the car...saw it after work this evening...







I took it for a drive around the block a couple of times. It ran alright, good idle. No funky engine noises. It has a short shifter, and the 1-2 shift didnt grind, but it wasnt smooth...granted Im not used to that car and shifter. I did detect some rattling noise from the front end...wasnt sure if it was drivetrain chatter, intake noise, or just a rattly hood. He says he has some of the interior pieces (pillars, etc) but they were dirtied by the previous owner, who stripped out the interior I guess. It didnt pull super hard, though I dont know if the car was especially tired, or I was just used to my car. I also didnt really get out of 2nd gear around the narrow streets where he lives. Heater worked, automatic belts worked, throttle response seemed alright, wasnt running hot, it has over 200k, although he said the previous owner put a more recent engine in it, but he wasnt sure of its mileage. He also thought it might need a new transmission mount. Its an 800 buck car, what can ya say...........
Edit: I just realized...is that a Primera front grill? or did someone just put a Nissan badge on the stock Infiniti grille? Hmmm...
