Thread: PCNW 2012 get-together planning

I used to drive 6 hours to shasta california for a car show every july. Problem is for me, i am not going over 4 hour drive, i will have 2 kids by the time we do the show, 22 month old and a 2 month old do not do good for that long of a drive. Both me, josh, and allen have kids and young ones, so i dont think we all want to be taking them over 4 hour drive.
Plus i dont like the cops in kennewick, i had my car out there 4 years ago for work training at a hub out there, and had nothing but issues with the po po's out there. Plus its all desrtie out there, no good scenery. I think someplace with good scenery is a great bed. Just trying to pick something thats fair for everyone.

Guys from seattle to get to locks just pop on sr 97 and drop down.

We could also do arlington or rufus oregon right off i84.

true i have a 2.5 year old and its hard to keep him to sit still for long periods of time so whatever you guys plan on is fine but 5 hours is to long of a drive for us spokane cda guys

i agree all along i84 is very beautiful i just drove to troutdale a few months ago in my escalade and loved it

What about umatilla? Some good pics at the dam there. ? Theres that mcnary beach park there. Kids could play and stuff.

thats about as far as we would want to drive we put a 3 hour dive as a limit because of kids but yeah that looks like a good spot

what kind of mpg do you get?

Like 25-30 with the ve. Right now shes needs to be tuned again, so getting a bit more shit for mpg.

so how much would you spend in gas? i just did a ve swap in a p11 that you can see at the link below but i have only put maybe 30 miles on it its 189 miles for me and i rung it up about 25.00???? is that about right? it took my escalade like 80.00 to drive that far
