Thread: Golden gardens is dead ??

Were not going TO idaho, its people from idaho want to come. Just like we may have people from cali and canada. Thats why were considering Umatila Oregon which is off i84 in oregon. Its 3 hour drive for us from vancouver, 4.5 for those from seattle, 4.5 from people from salem, and 4-5 for people from idaho, pretty round number for almost everyone so everybody can come.

i was hoping corvallis, because if i bring all my sr vehicle that would gaurentee atleast 8 cars, lol

We need to set up a meet for the portland metro area. This way more people will attend. I would wager that the majority of us do not want to drive 4.5 hours to meet up.

Umatila Oregon is 7hrs 18mins from my house ...so I will probably be out and if I head to my dads afterwords it will be another 5 to his house ....up north of Seattle...but it is a nice drive out there

This is the thing. We do it in portland we loose about 5 people, we do in umatilla we loose people, we do it near seattle we loose peolple. No pleasing anyone.

maybe we can arrange something with the prison out in umatilla, and have inmates and cars and etc.. Oregon State Pen has a yearly carshow

Not really wanting to read 12 full pages of stuff, lol. I may be a 240 owner, but I totally agree that making the old Golden Gardens meet a drift event is retarded. I can't stand 90% of 240 owners out there, lol. Anyways, I'm up for a meet in the greater Portland area. If anyone needs help working on the logistics, I've put events on in the past. Also, not sure what shops you are loyal to (if any), but TrackForged in Troutdale is holding their first BBQ meet (lots of parking) this April 22nd. If it hasn't already been posted I'll make a thread about it.

Me and my old man have ptu on the datsun blue lake show forever, so im not new to putting on shows, just my hands are always tied with getting blue lake ready with my old man. Lots of work for 1 event.

I bet. It's not easy to put on a successful event. It took tons of energy for the last few events I did.
