I'll say it again; The oem catalyst does not rob real world hp on an NA app. I'd like to see what a test pipe or high flow would really do... almost nothing imo. The catalyst kills a lot of buzz/drone while cruising.

I would not have thought that the N1 cams would have allowed you to throw so much timing up top. Good to know.

What's left to do for power? Pulleys... maybe some 16ve pistons.... 220+/165 easy. I can't wait to build my VE. Next year I hope.

You are porbably maxxing out the header for sure. I'd look into a 20V or maybe one from that group buy. When you do your next round that is. Congrats and enjoy the ride for now.

thanks for the props guys. internals are staying stock until it needs a rebuild. crank pulley is about it for bolt-ons i guess. i don't think the n1 manifold/tb is a good bang for buck at this point. plans are for a different air filter. i'm concerned about the crap i've read about k&n, that i may try to fit an aem dryflow filter as a short stack. and a little bling wouldn't hurt either

Very nice! Would you mind posting your bin? I haven't been able to find an N1 bin for a b14 as of yet. I know it won't be perfect, but will work. Is your fpr at stock pressure?

What does your intake look like now? You ever look at the intake NismoNick made for his VE?

and a pretty ragged looking afr chart. afr's were taken @ the tailpipe

the difference in the readings of the tailpipe as opposed to near the engine is about ~0.4 less. so if you're looking at 13.5 on the tailpipe then its about 13.1 near the engine.
