dropped off the spare 2.0 block at the machine shop today for boring and assembly. gave them the new 87mm, 12.5cr cp pistons, and new rod and main bolts. they'll order the acl race bearings needed for re-assembly.
i'm using a different shop. this one is in Lacey, Wa. (local). no-one here or within 50 miles has a torque plate for the sr20

he won't start on it till Thursday so....is a torque plate THAT important?
now the worked vvl head....i still have it here in the garage. i measured the head of the valves VS the stock head valves. it looks like BOTH, the int AND ex valves are 2mm larger. i'm thinking about de-shrouding the valves but, do you think it's necessary for a HC 2.05L?
