Intake manifold had no darkened colorization to it. Cant beat their motors for the price and quality. The 3 ve's ive gotten from them have been just like yours. Very very clean.
Not to threadjack, thanks Ashton for your boy Ronald @ Soko. $795 + shipping, the VE didn't have any gold tint anywhere under the cover. Cleanest used motor I've had yet. Seems like we have had a good run on clean, affordable VEs as of late. Ric just do your homework on the 88mm and if you feel good about the reliability and have a source to bore out the VET gasket then go for it. If you have the funds just do it.

Yeah i get mine from him for 900 to my door but thats because ive literally bought about 20 motors from him ranging from de's, ve's, d series honda, and so on. He usually sells me the ve for 750 and the jdm de's for 325 and then 150 for shipping. Soko has freakin awesome motors for sure. I really wish i would have taken a pic of those two de motors that i had that couldnt have had 5k miles on them, literally. Like they came off the showroom and either wrecked the car or just never sold and yanked the motors. They were that clean. It was like having a brand new motor from nissan basicly, you wouldnt have been able to tell them apart.
That brand new vet motor that Sealti96 posted, yeah it looked like that but was complete with everything on it.
