first let me preface the changes from the last dyno in july......
back then i was running way too much ign timing.
N1's were @ +2/-3. now +4/-4
ASP budget header.
i picked a comparo run from last time showing i think 235whp. this one is 233.xx/180.xx with more low rpm hp/tq. i was having trouble updating the map. i'd make changes, then save it, but it wouldn't upload to the ecu
. in fact the laptop had to be force shut down, then rebooted. and it still wouldn't update. pissed me off! we did change the cam switch points though, and with great sucess. we got rid of a HUGE dip in mid range power by raising the points ~500 rpm.
all in all, i'd have to say the little ASP Budget header did pretty well.
on the way to the dyno, i was monitoring my afr's and noticed it getting richer and richer. to the point of 10.8 to 1 in steady cruising! i was like wtf! it's never done this before. i attributed it to running so cold. the coolant temp was 172* and figured the cts was telling the ecu to richen things up...weird
