t/b, tps and finish up the throttle cable mounting. install the cai/wai (whichever fits). i'm gonna try running w/o the iacv/aac at first.
THE BATTERY IS ON SLOW CHARGE AS I TYPE THIS

the only issues you will see with not havin an iacv is cold starts.. i've thought about putting a choke cable in. i doubt it'd be all that hard..

other then that you should be able to get it to idle nice once warm by playin with the screw on the TB. i usually aim for about 1000rpm cause its nice an crisp an has a little whistle an when you let off it wont buck or bog..

how ever GL passing emissions that way lol well for me atleast it made my car run dirty

then all you gotta do is battle the cold starts. like i said tho if you set it to idle at 1000 then it wont be to bad.. 10 - 15 seconds you gotta hold the gas pedal then gently release it an let it sit for a few mins.. other wise you get the jerks and or stall at stop but like i said, once its warmed up it should be all good..

also it helps to fine tune the cold start crap in the ecu.. hell you maybe able to get the jerks an stalls out an not even have to hold the pedal at startup lol.. i havent messed with that stuff much lately.

what are you using to seal the runners to the plenum? a gasket?

So is this thing running?

a gasket? yes. there's a thick (i think) black plastic piece that the v stacks are fitted to and (glued in) that acts as a gasket. during assembly you simply insert the (gasket plate/v-stack assembly) in through the the bottom of the plenum. it's pre-drilled, so insert screws through the runner upper flange, the (gasket) then into the plenum.
for a super $$ savings, go talk to GregV about the xcessive plenum he carries. it bolts to your stock lower runners. the difference between that one and mine is i had custom lower runners cast

not yet. more parts issues, so no more predictions.

Im asking because jamie had the xcessive plenum on his turbo car and he couldnt get it to seal right maybe he can shimmy in. If theres no gasket in between, you are going to have sealing problems maybe not with an NA car but definitely with a turbo car.

It won't seal great unless they plane it after they weld it. if its not 100% flat you will have issues. I would still use a rtv gasket maker on it or you might have issues.
