installed the knuckles, struts, rotors, calipers... etc. (still need cotter pins)

also hooked up the p/s line, starter wiring, distributor/vvl solenoid plugs. installed the coolant overflow bracket/bottle and battery tray. added p/s fluid and mt-90 to their respective homes.
b15 tranny switches re-wiring are next on the list (tues).
there's so much room under there, between the back of the motor and firewall, i'm gonna leave the crossmember out till i get the I/M.

only had about 4 1/2 hours good time on the project today.
i've been in desperate need of a new upper heater core hose and found this one today. fits perfect

had to remove the oil dipstick tube from the block. it was tweaked so bad while the engine was out of my possession the dipstick itself would only insert half way. i used the bench vise and 2 blocks of wood to straighten it out some.
after hooking up the clutch cable i found that i didn't have enough adjustment, so off to home depot to purchase $4 worth parts for the reducer trick. all's good>

found out the b14 speedo sensor plug, plugs right in to the b15 tranny sensor.
none of the mishimoto radiator fan mount holes were threaded. i don't own a tap/die set so i opened it up a little with the next size larger drill bit then used the steel fan mount screw (lubed with grease) as a tap. since the radiator is soft aluminum it worked perfectly.

installed the asp header. left it disconnected from the rear section.
my parts pile has dwindled considerably

didn't get around to the neutral and reverse switch wiring. i'm gonna try and find a wrecked donor i can cut the harness side plugs off of.
p.s. the mail-girl delivered a small box from hose techniques today containing a silicone hose vacuum line kit (black). that'll go on after the mani is installed.

Looks like its really coming together.

How do you like the Mishi hoses?

mishi hoses? they're purrdee. had to trim a bit off each one..no biggie.
i may have to remove the cooling system spigot that's about it. e-z-chee-z (2 bolts)

i'll throw the wheels/tires on today and lower it some. it's getting there

for those who are curious (i was)...Charles set the N1 cams to +2/-3 as a starting point.

- Interesting, you're starting out with the ASP 4-2-1 header as well. Looks like I want be the only one. I'm considering the Marzworx 4-1 header, but a little concerned about how low it hangs, but it's still not to bad.
