just got back from the test drive, same shit. once it hits 6k, watch out
i've thought of the clogged screen scenario, but haven't checked it:o.
and since the re-rebuild, there MAY be some crap in there (i hope so). soon as she cools down i'll check it. if you're right thats twice AND i owe you a cold drink or 2 at the convention.
Josh. ya mid 11's IS pretty rich for n/a, but it makes power. and it's only THAT rich during wot. the rest of the fuel map is pretty normal looking, wouldn't you say?

yea the rest of the map looks ok. So on the dyno it made more power with 11.5:1 afr then it did at 12.5-13.0?

like i said i dont know much on the subject, just tryin to pitch ideas.

Lets hope so rick, although it sounds unlikely it would be nice!

And lynch, usually the higher cr motors actually do make more power with more fuel. 11.5 might be a little fat I imagine he'd see best power around 12 flat wot.

S A's...all of you
still thinking about the issues with cam switching......i'm pretty convinced it isn't an electrical issue so.....
that leaves a mechanical problem. if, on Monday when i remove the solenoid block i find nothing wrong, my next step will be checking the exhaust rocker shaft orientation. according to GregV' article on cam swaps/springs & retainer installation, it CAN be put in ass backwards. meaning the oiling holes pointing towards the front of the engine rather than towards the spark plugs. mother f'er
what are the chances? bets, anyone? haha

maybe i should go straight to the rocker shaft
