my man found NOTHING upsetting to him within the combustion chambers, whew!
he said compression was pretty even, though higher than he expected.

leak down was good also.
he did find the msd 8969 that was controlling the exhaust cam has an intermittent failure! sometimes it works fine, then doesn't, then does. that explains the dyno chart wavering then falling after the exh switch point.
i've had the 2 8969's zip-tied back to back and sitting loosely on the battery tray for like 7 yrs. when overflowing battery acid began to melt the plastic cases i tried neutralizing it with baking soda/water solution

. oh well.
so, a new switching solution is in order. i can temporarily use just 1 8969 to switch both cams but i'm looking for something, maybe smaller, that could do both separately. i like the idea of separate cam switching because of the smoother power band AND i can get a little boost on the intake bigs without additional exhaust noise (stealth mode

cam switching recommendations welcome. whats the latest/ greatest gadget to handle the duties?
