as far as the iacv, its all in the tune. i have no iacv on my custom intake manifold and 90mm throttle body.

20 degree day it starts right up, holds steady at 1100 rpm or so.

this is with kelford v3's wich have a bigger bottom lobe then yours.

stratton.

Glad to see your still sticking with the project Rick. It's people like you that inspire more builds.

waiting on h2o pump
installed the tranny w/axles and the starter today. all bolts torqued to spec. won't get a chance to work on it again till Monday. by then the pump should be here.
while i'm thinking about it, i'm gotta replace the coolant gauge sensor, the single wire one. it's been giving me the funk for several yrs.
crap, i still have to drop off the big tube header. the guy i took it to before didn't wanna touch it..the PUSSY.
if the header isn't finished by Wednesday pm i'll bolt up the cheapo ebay header Thursday just so i can start her up.
question...ever since i put the b15 tranny in, my speedo reads like 8 mph fast @ 60mph. it's probably the vss. will the b14 tranny vss fit into the b15se tranny?

Yes your b14 speedo will fit, you need to use your b14 one, thats why your speed is off.

Looks good man, glad to see your back at it again. Hopefully things go much smoother this time around.

thanks ashton.
dropped the header off for welding/modification
swapped out the b15 vss for a b14 one
installed new gauge temp sender, new water pump, old u/r w/p pulley, drive belt, pass side m/m and torque mount.
advanced int. cam to +3/(ex 0)
tomorrow the bitch goes back where she belongs

lets hope so.

got quite a bit done today..a solid 7 hours at a leisurely pace, working alone. used this opportunity to put the new (soft) drivers side tranny mount in. tomorrow the battery and intake system go in and i'll make a chinamart run for fluids. under car is done except header. start up is only few hours away
