The IM will be good for 15-20whp thats my bet jejejeje The only restriction I see its the 70mmTB at least I would try changing to a Q45TB..
Good move on the piston wow you will be able to use any brand 90mm HG..

Uh-oh!
Big Boy is back home HAHA
it'll be next monday (1st day off) before i start to work on it. with the radius job on the top circumference of the piston i now have~.060" clearance on the h/g (lots). btw, the $cost$ to get this work done was a lot less than i thought.

but what is the reason for the first failure ? rings refused to seat ? you were also overheating/having to add coolant ? i cant recall.

finally lifted a wrench today after all the b/s weather last week. we were w/o power from Thursday-Monday. the backyard is a disaster area with all the branches down off the neighbor' trees. i'll give him the option to come over and clean it up or i'll throw it over the fence into his yard.
so today i installed the xcessive i/m, 70mm aussie t/b, fuel rail w/injectors, injector harness w/knock sensor, coolant hard lines, vvl solenoids, oil filter housing, power steering mount bracket and pump. also installed the JUN u/l flywheel, b15se clutch disc and JWT pressure plate. the distributor, plugs and plug wires are in/on.
decided to say screw the oem manifold /tb. i'll add a vacuum fitting to the cai (post maf) and plumb a line for metered air to a remote mounted iacv. cold start was a pita w/ the n1's and think the iacv will be a necessity with the 184c's to keep from stalling.
i ordered a new w/p yesterday...no sense installing the old one when new ones are so cheap and are a pita to change with the motor installed
tomorrow i'll mate up the tranny and do a parts run for the iacv vacuum stuff and mod the cai. ALMOST THERE
