no way dude. had that for months. today got word from charles the short block should be done tomorrow. YAY!!
the head SHOULD be done in 2 weeks, or so. the valves are on the way.
might have the bitch road ready by end of summer, paint job and all. who'da thunk 9 months for the transformation. goddamn i miss driving her

jimi- we didn't weigh it, although "my man" said it was near the same as the oem 8cw. there were plans to knife edge it, but time constraints (read i want the bitch back together) won't allow it, unless it's absolutely necessary.
jer- the original spec supertech valves were +1/+2. these are coming from a different manu. and are a little under that.
the good news is...the bottom end reciprocating assembly is lighter than oem because the off the shelf bc rods are a bit lighter than oem sr + the bigger 92mm (~12.5cr) pistons are lighter as well. these pistons are of a unique spec/design, unlike most other sr pistons out there.
