yep i heard some bad things about them as well.

With the mileage you have on there now your rings should already seat.

240psi is way too low. Sounds like you may have hurt that top ring on the pistons, unless you have a bad comp tester.

You should be no lower than 285psi.

Even my wife knows the bad things about unnatural lol. When a woman knows bad shit about a company, you know their bad.

maybe thats another reason she's down on power?

If you do indeed have a bad ring, Or the gap is to big, it will bleed of a shit load of hp.

Is the oil that u changed watery or thick like oil suppose to be?

looked/smelled normal to me.

i started the cam swap today. for the hell of it a i checked the clearance on #1 intake. i used a .20mm feeler gauge and placed it between the low cam lobes (right/left) and the rocker. i could slide it under the right small lobe but not the left one. is this correct? wtf! shouldn't they be the same? i'm beginning to think this head was just thrown together.
once i pulled the cams i found this..




thats all 4 intake.




and all 4 exhaust

some are worse than others but a fingernail feels them all. might as well order up new rockers from GregV. the N1 cam lobes are in much better shape.

didn't snickers do the head? looks like the tolerances were way to tight.

so after thinking about it, i wonder if the tolerances are too loose, so when vvl hit the lobes weren't smoothly pushing on the rocker it was tapping it?
