they also put a sr20de in the 200sx se-r oem when they Could of put the sr20ve in.. just sayin.. lol

but i agree it does have a purpose, but its not going to hurt anything if its not there.. i would rather run with out then use a mangled one..

i have fixed these on driver side axles before tho just because i couldn't get it off to swap one from another axle on, thankfully it wasn't too bent out of shape

I don't have that ring either. But of my cars have been nonlsd, but I doubt that makes a difference.

3rd ones a charm installed it yesterday. raised the coilovers ~2"fr/.75"rr and took her for a spin around the block a few times. from what i can tell, the steering wheel shake on accel is gone...YAY!
tomorrow the rf wheel bearings get replaced...again. monday, another alignment.
lesson learned....resist temptation to drop in the weeds.

word. Mine shows some signs at ~80mph. was rocking streetsweeper status and now waiting for the bearings and axles to give up.

glad you are getting it dialed in probably still looks good w modest drop.

the shop that WAS going to do the rf bearings is FIRED!
when i asked for a $quote$, this is what they said....

"to replace the inner and outer bearings and seals on the rf only,
$450."
they can kiss my" lily white ass"! Frucking thieves
so i called GregV and ordered the parts. a couple hours labor on my part and ~$30-$50 labor to a machine shop for the bearing press will knock 75-80% off that.

played with cam gears...
set N1'S to +4/-4. will test drive tomorrow, weather permitting.

certainly. come on down any Mon-Wed, any time.
results... think i gained some low/mid-range. rolling 2nd gear from 2.5k, then hit wot. at ~5.5k the rpms shot to 7k, where i lifted. i thought the jwt clutch was slipping... as it turns out, the azenis hadn't been warmed properly. no wheel hop though, just smooooth spinning
tomorrow, the 3 season (Pilot Exalto PE2's on RPO1's) go back on. (much better cool weather traction)
anxious to see how the new Supercowboy (SC) header affects things. then finally, the kelfords WILL go in (i promise).
