I hope you have a wideband on her to see what shes doing both at idle and crusing.

but of course. zeitronics to be exact. umm, i HAVE heard some knock, under load @ just above idle. remember, the fuel is also ~1 yr old.
soon as the au$$ie t/b gets here i'll be able to finish the mani and take her down the road to burn off the old gas and fill her up with fresh 92 oct. then i'll swap injectors and start initial tuning.

i have a zetronix WB also seems to work well.. do you have a gauge or do you have to use your laptop also?

It's more in the timing map than old fuel.

When tuning you will see what I mean. Doesn't like anything like your 2.0 for timing.

Do the hard break in man.

Get that tank flushed. I'm kind of surprised you ran it with old fuel.

It sounds like you just have to shake out a few things and it will be ready. It must seem like its taking forever.

seems pretty simple but if your going to datalog with the zetronix software you might want to think about hooking up a few other things, like the tps and maybe maf voltages.. maybe you can figure out how to wire in the speedo also..

minor update
played with the de t/b a little today. i got the car to idle fine (@~1200rpm) with the throttle stop screw so, i don't think i'll be needing the iacv after all. took her around the block a couple more times. the sticking rear caliper finally freed up on it's own. i let her warm up to 200*F, then shut her down. drained the ~30 minute/1 mile old oil, changed out the napa gold filter and refilled her with castrol gtx 5w-30. next change comes @ 500 miles. transferred over the scangauge2 from the fronty to the beast to monitor coolant temps more accurately. think i'll put the hood back on tomorrow then do some sotp tuning. like retarding the timing table ~5*-7* nearly across the board. quick throttle punches (even in neutral) result in detonation as she sits. the aussie 70mm t/b should be here any day now. so then i'll have a more permanent throttle cable setup as well (no more zip ties:o)
thats all from "PLANET BEAST"

I advise u to use shell rotella 10-30, for the next 500 miles and then for another 500 after that. We have used that in ours and it worked flawless.
