hmmm i might hit up pull and save this weekend, i habe a ve oil pump on my motor that i toasted the head on but i dont know how good the rod bearings are because its making a rattling noise at idle. im going to check the oil pressure tonight with a gauge so well see. what are motors at p&s $100 or $150?

$145. The engine in that b14 had a blown head gasket but the oil pump should still be good

ive got my ve pump so i might just pull it and put that on, but i think i might need to do bearings too, in which case ill probably just put my highport in because ive never done rod bearings before and i dont really want to right now, but i could i suppose.

They're fairly simple to do and you shouldn't have to pull the crank out to replace them. You just have to pull both pans and and do the bearings one rod at a time.

sound good thinking having an afternoon bbq then geting a bunch of sr20's to go to the friday night dragsthen party saterday sometime in the next 4-6 weeks i can house about 5 peeps and 20 cars lol

well as some know i deliver pizza lol well im very good freinds with the owner and he is alowing me to do car club meets at the shop w/ all you can eat pizza soda and anything else we have hoping to do it every friday night or every other would like to get at least 10 people to start with there is a huge parking lot for cars also bring extra parts to swap out or sell so if anyone is interested let me know oh ya we have beer tap&bottle lol leave me some contact info
