Thread: Moving to Portland in 2 weeks.

March 2 I will be arriving and I am trying to find some sort of income asap. If anyone has a job opening at their work, even if its a few hours a week I could use it. I am even willing to just be on call in the event that someone wants a night off or something.

I dont have any degrees, just customer service and pizza experience.

Check craigslist and you can compete with me and hundreds of others for every single job posted. I got a call back from one and he said he got 75 resumes in 2 days and had to remove the posting. Lots of people looking for work, good luck. If you still cant find anything by mid-late April send me a PM I may be able to hook you up with the company I just left. Refinishing decks and stuff, if you're interested. There are often pizza related jobs on CL, btw.

Hows your driving record???

My driving record is good. 1 moving violation from 4-5 years ago. I do not have a car however.

What part of portland are you moving too???

Initially I will be moving to 147/E burnside. That will be for a few days til we move into the new house, which is somewhere i think out in the 180ish blocks. Kinda out in the sticks of Portland but I will probably only be there short term.

Well that is not too far from my work place... also that would be around the Gresham/Rockwood area...
