20VE springs are actually stiffer than N1 springs. Not alot of people realize this. The stock springs and N1 cams are perfectly fine.

Besides, on a fully bolted VE you arent making power past 8K. No need to rev higher.

wish i could afford n1 cams lol sr16's will do for now

I'm looking into getting a VE. I have a couple of Q's.

I am running sr20ve with sr16ve cams, stock sr2ove springs and retainers for a while with no issue whatever. Even using he sr16 ecu that revs to 8300rpm - and I rev it up there daily...

^Are you using a stock SR16VE ecu, or does it have a program?

^Interesting. The N1 springs you speak of are aftermarket?

^Do you know who is selling some? I want to look into getting some. So you have a choice between running stock SR20VE cams, SR16VE cams, and SR16VE N1 cams? Is this correct?
