Evlnxr.

Dont be afraid of adding timing the 20V motor compared to the regualar SR20VE motor has way more knock resistance.

Just to ask a question Eclnxr. Does anyone down there have a set of factory Nissan N1 cams?

Anyway you look at it these hybrid cams are making more power down low and are holding their own up top so little more tuning and this thing will be the sh*t good work fellows

These are gen N1's on a p11 engine with fuji's, shortened secondaries, and a little bit of smoothing work in the head. Oh, and i think its got a n1 manifold and throttle body. 3" exhaust.

I'll see how i go for time today, get a power run done.

AND a dead standard fuel pump!

Replaced it yesterday with an in-tank Bosch, and BAM got my 'kick' back again, has it's 'pep' that it lost, and runs quieter now, easier to start etc...

Has been flat for about 2weeks, and I was considering going back to Pauls to see if there was something wrong with the tune, before 'D-day', but I was out of luck, and time.

We need to head back to the dyno once the bugs are ironed out... you would think that 3 months was heaps of time to get ready for the comparison but few of us were at 100%.

Kelford's 184-C made exactly 1kw less than the N1 at dyno day and stopped making power at 7,300rpm. I have to work out why as they are supposed to make power to 9,000rpm. Picking it could be either exhaust or cam timing.

This dyno needs the cams switched at 6000 RPMs. If you do so you will make way more power from 5,500-6000 RPMs where on your graph there is a dip from switching the cams to early because of low air speed in the intake track.

If some results don't come in soon I'm not responsible for cleaning up after Dre explodes from anticipation.
