So let me see if I have this right the 20V is making more HP up to about 5800 RPMs then the N1 takes over and kicks some ass.

Now we know that the N1 makes peak torque at 6800 RPMs so where does the 20V make peak torque.

87 MPH is about where 5800 RPMs should be. At 5800 RPMs the N1 cams will take over on the chart and will hold the HP to a peak of 7800 RPMs. Then the power curve will start to go down slowly.

RPMs-----FS4-----20VL-N1H
3000------40------50-----+10
3500------50------65-----+15
4000------54------63-----+9
4500------63------70-----+7
5000------67------80-----+13
5550------85------97-----+12
6000------90------107----+17
6500-----105------121----+16
7000-----115------128----+13
7500-----125------133----+8
8000-----131------137----+6
8500-----137------133--- -4
9000-----140------130--- -10

So it seems that these figures are going to be very close.

it is all a little relative though as it depends when the cams are switched, like you cant say you will be making 17hp more at 6000 rpm as it depends what lobe he was on there.

likewise with the big tom thread, i havent seen the thread so i dont know when cam switchover was, but if he was switching at 4800 then you cant say the 20v's hiybrid will make more power to 5800. However i do hope in that thread you are talking about that the switchover is 5800rpm as it proves the low lobe can last

But i noticed in an earlier post in this thread you where doing you +xxkw when the 20v cam was on high lobe so it was irrelevant. That said i think the 20v n1 will be a great cam

First of Bigtom was on the H L at 6000 RPMs for both the 20V and N1s. Evlnxr is also on the high side at 6000 RPMs. So you can make a comparison.

Guy you are trying to make a point over a 1000 RPM span. Evlnxr is clearly switching the cams to early, that being 4800 RPMs. You can even see on the graph there is a dip then an upward swing. You can come to the conclusion that switching the cams at 5400-5600 is a much better bet and if he does so he will make more power in that section from 4800-5600.

I switch my N1s at 5000 RPMs and thats where they have a smoth transitiion. The 20Vs being larger would need a later switch point also clearly seen on Evlnxrs grapgh.

So if it is clear that the N1s make more WHP than the 20Vs from 5800 up. So we know that from 5800 RPMs the power will be higher than the 20V so what you are saying is pointless.

You are acting like what I have there is written in stone. The graph is a speculation of thing to come. I bet you will see once the dyno is made that the graph will be very close to what is posted here. With in 2 Kw north or south,

With a very special thanks to BenFenner for doing the graph for me. This is what the projected dyno should look like with 20V Lows and N1 Highs vs Frankiln S4.

That is freaking brilliant! If it has that much more mid range than the Stage4's, and still comparible power up top, but without the revs, then it will be a way faster car at all times.

The cams are in and ive started it, unfortunatly there is a P11 wagon broken down in front of my garage, and iim not too keen to drive it hard before the tune, as we took a lot of fuel out of the mid range for the stage 4's.

Oh, and Evlnxr is getting a big brother, hopefully tommorow!
