Evlnxr.

Where did Adrian get to copy the 20V low lobes from to copy? Did you let him use your cams. If so then great. At this point you dont want any guesses just a dead on copy of the 20V cam.

Once you get the 20V L-N1 H cams in your car and tested please dont forget to make your dyno runs and over lays.

Is it possible for the guys who are intrested an waiting for cams like this to pitch in a few dollars to support Evlnxr as he is helping us all. I am willing to send a little paypal money to get this done. I think you guys should to. The stress of doing all this testing on one man can be hard.

Thanks again Evlnxr.

I think the standard SR20VE cams make for a great turbo cam. They could be a little better but I like them.

The average turboed VE makes about 470-480 WHP at 20 psi. Thats not bad for a 2L

i will be using standard 20ve cams, but i do think the 6.6mm ex will limit my midrange torque

personally a 20v low in and 20vet low ex with tomei 270 procam high in with a 274ex or even greedy 272 profile would be nice

Why dont you try getting your hands on 20V cams and testing them in a Turbo car. I think they would be great for turbo.

I got one of my friends a 20V and we will be building it into a VET. It will all have the oil pickup and water pickup for the turbo on the front of the motor like a VET.

Anyway I will be using 20V cams. I think all we will need to do is take out some of the over lap on the top side and we will have a winner. I figue 8 to 10 degrees each cam should work. We will have this car ready for the Atlanta convention in March.

^^yeah i know of people have a lot of success with 20v cams. seems to give a very linear power band

i will probably give the sr20ve's a shot first as they have less overlap to start with than 20v's

might give 20v's a shot down the track or make up some customs

I took the 20v cams to him and he dialed them up on his computer while i was there. I'll make sure he gets all the numbers from them incase anyone wants a set of 20v's, he can then grind them up.

I could also possibly get a set of VET cams for him to measure up if K-ran is up for it.

Cams are ready for pick up on Thursday.

As soon as my check hits I will have no problem in throwing down some trouble cash for him. I did it for charles and I'll do it for him.

Here is a rough power diffrence between both cams with the same 20V header. Please note that 20Vs are not a top end cam so anything after 7000 RPMs is what we are looking for as to n1 cams taking over and keeping a power gap positive on the FS4 cams.

RPMs-----FS4-----20V
3000------40------50-----+10
3500------50------65-----+15

8000-----131------120---- -11

20V cams and 20V headers vs FS4 cams and 20V headers

RPMs-----FS4-----20V
3000------40------50-----+10
3500------50------65-----+15
4000------54------63-----+9
4500------63------70-----+7
5000------67------80-----+13
5550------85------97-----+12
6000------90------105----+15
6500-----105------118----+13
7000-----115------121----+7

8000-----131------120---- -11
8500-----137------118---- -19
9000-----140------110---- -30

Below is what I think the 20V L and N1 H will look like vs FS4 cams

RPMs-----FS4-----20V
3000------40------50-----+10
3500------50------65-----+15
4000------54------63-----+9
4500------63------70-----+7
5000------67------80-----+13
5550------85------97-----+12
6000------90------107----+17
6500-----105------121----+16
7000-----115------128----+13
7500-----125------133----+8
8000-----131------137----+6
8500-----137------133--- -4
9000-----140------130--- -10

That power curve for the 20V L and N1 H is way in its favor, much more power under the curve. This setup will be a great drag cam and street cam from a role.

Hell I'll send you some $ through just for being a good guy. PM me your acc no. Would be very keen to see how the 184-C's go against these in a back to back. I'll be ready to put some money down on a pair of either if they go well.
