Dre, the VE front cover/pump works great. Oil pressure is right up there. Never a light anymore. The DE spacer made a gap of about 1/16" which explains why pressure was lost at idle. Thanks again.

Now about those pulleys. I was wondering if the GSpec WP pulley is much different from the DE UR pulley, as far as size goes? I am running that WP now and I wanted a GSpec VE crank pulley. Any idea on if the sizes are the same, so I know the belt to run??

Really I'm just wondering why its there. Are there any benefits from it or design improvements for your application? I know the 78e DET block has the issue with the third bracket bolt not lining up. Dose the 20 or 16ve block have the same issue?

Thanks,
Mike

Motor looks nice BTW

The axle bracket is a custom thing. Trying to save weight without making any compromises.

All VE and DE blocks are the same as far as the axle bracket goes.

All DET and AWD DE blocks have the problem where the bottom bolt does not bolt up. This is because the block is skinnier at the bottom to clear the AWD tranny.

Hey, have you come up with any preferences for spark plugs for the 20v head? I had platinum NGK's in my engine, but we flooded it and they ran like arse, when i rang the NGk importer they were 2 weeks from Japan and $$$$, he had some coppers in stock so grabbed them. Rang again the other day, and he's out of stock on the coppers too. Have you used any other brands that have the correct spec?

I used P11ve plugs accidentally for a while, they actually ran ok, despite the end of the plug being 10mm up inside the plug hole!

Very nice man. Just wondering where we can get a set of those Ultra Power Wires. I can't seem to find them. Also I'm not too familiar with 20V. Is that the Head for the 20V including intake/plenum & distributor. I like how the valve cover looks but wasn't sure if you can put it on a regular sr20ve motor and also how clean the distributor looks. My apologies if this has been answered somewhere else.

TIA

Thats my guess on what this motor will put down, im not being a smart ass Miko, just a realist. Ive seen the dyno of that 2.2 with 12:1 compression, N1 cams blah blah blah, and all he did was 216 uncorrected or so. Ive also seen people run the 20v head, ahem was it Lance? and make like 185whp or whatever it was. So my question to you is what makes you think your car will do anymore? I have yet to see big numbers from anything VE, frankly to dump 10k into a car for 215whp to me is pointless.....

Im just guesstimating on the hp number like you always do Andreas, and this is the number i think this car will put out, ive been waiting to see these numbers for about 3 years now and all i hear is talk...... Prove me wrong!
