Some Pics Of My SR23VE Motor Before I Put It In My Blue 94 SER
The pics should speak for themselves

Pic Of Alt In The Back And Aluminum Engine Mount Bracket. This Bracket Is from A Stock RR or VE Engine That Was Machined Down To Fit. Also Check Out the Wicked G Spec Pulleys. Your Motor Will Not Be Fast Without Them.

If You Look Closely, You Will See That The Block Is A SR16VE Block.

Boy Do I Love Those Ultra Power Wires, They Are Rated Higher Than The Factory Wires

Pic Of Aluminum Axle Bracket Mounted On Motor. Had To Run Old School Oil Filter Housing As the Housing Thats Sits the Oil Filter In The Back Does not Clear The Alt.

Wow, I love the alternator placement. Looks like a beast Can't wait to see it fully buttoned down and some numbers turned out of it.

There are alot of pics to come but thats all I got for now.

The motor is 90mm bore x 91mm stroke = 2.315

J&E Pistons @ 12 to 1 compression ( Swain Tech Coated )

Crower Rods

Tomei crank

Molybeam coated bearings

The cams are stock cams from a SR20VE. I will be dynoing the motor as is and then I will put in the N1 cams.

After putting in the N1 cams and making some pulls I will be changing the intake manifold for the one on my car now and another one that I had made that is about 2 inchs shorter than the one on my car.

I will then be stepping up to a 80mm Q45 TB on the intake manifold. with 3.5 inch intake piping and 80mm SR20VE 20V MAF.

Tuning will be done with a Calum Real Time.

How did you get the alternator in the back? I would love to get my hands on that bracket but its probably only a 20V thing right?

more than likely he used the rwd det bracket or had one made. I was thinking of doing this as well and might do it later down the road. It looks like it clears fairly well also. Thats great to hear.

That has nothing to do with a 20V.

This is all Stock Nissan Parts that I grinded on to make fit. It is so simple it is not funny.

The first time I did one of these was back in 98.

Then I refined it in 2000 for my 2.2L DE motor.

I have now refined it some more for the SR23VE. There is no more refining needed as it is now perfect.
