I was trying to do some research on here but I couldn't find what I needed. I understtod from a thread on the othe forum that sr16 pistons in a ve would yield a 13:5 compression ratio. Obviously that is not going to work on 93 octane. I want to acheive a compression ratio that is pump gas friendly say a 12:1. Can I achieve that by getting a 0.5mm thicker headgasket and taking 1mm of the top of the sr16 piston?
Basically my goal is to have somewhere around 12:1 compression using SR16 pistons. I would just like to know what mods would be needed to achieve this.
