Thread: VE idle = oil light

SO we are looking into getting a pump now.

MIko is right, that is exactly what happened to me on my roller rocker before it went. The oil light would flicker, i thought it was the oil pressure sender, I kept driving it and wham! It seized up one day.

How long did you drive it? I think it might need to make ONE last trip to get the pump done because I don't have any tools where I am now. I might have to have them bring a flatbed then.

dont drive the thing man....ull kick ur self in the pants whe u gatta buy more than a pump... but a motor or the headache of rebuilding a motor

I drove it like 20 more miles after the light flickered for the first time and then the bearing went and it died
