MSS still not working!
So it's been about a month and still am not able to get the VVL to work with the MSS. I redid the wiring on the solenoids today just to make sure that wasn't the problem (each has its own constant wired to the battery), but still nothing. We turned the activation points all the way down to see if the idle would change any, but nothing. Although I was able to hear a quick click, which I would assume that would mean the solenoids are working. Took it for a spin to make sure it wasn't lack of oil pressure at idle, but no activation.

So I'm lost here. Double-checked all the settings and everything seems fine.

Here's my confusion though...

If my issue would have something to do with my tach signal, wouldn't that mean I wouldn't have an accurate or no RPM reading at all. The RPM reading is consistant with my SAFC and dash tach.

I'm going to remove the solenoids and check to see that they're not clogged this weekend.

Please throw any other ideas/thoughts at me.

When I set mine up I tapped the wrong wire. I think it was the dash one from the ECU and my VVL wouldn't kick. I can't rem if the RPM gauge worked on my MSS tho it's been a while.

^Did you ever get it to work? Did you check to see if they were clogged up?

Make sure none of the other settings are triggering or preventing from triggering the switches.
