SR20ve Header: Fujitsubo vs Stock?
I realize that the Fuji header is designed off the 20ve stock one so how much more HP is expected with mild bolt on like 60mm Exhaust, Pop Charger, sr16cams, sr16ecu (8300rpm limit) with Greddy Emanage tune?

Know there are lots of thread with SR20ve Header but is there anyone here that has done a comparison between stock 20ve header and Fuji header - say on a dyno?

Thanks

the stock header is very restrictive , it does not even compare to the Fuji one.
Ive seen both and witnessed VE powered cars on a dyno with both.

example, When Trey Had the white NX with a VE it made a bit more power than a stock sr20de somewhere around 150 hp-160

Danny HKS, in his G20 made somewhere in the high 180's to the wheels.
he was running the Fuji one and also had a full exhaust so that also contribuited to the #s.

Rick made 215 through a Fuji and a stock catalyst. Try that with an oem manifold.

^^ Yes 215 at the wheels. You can't even begin to compare a Stock VE manifold to a Fuji. Don't even start to begin.. His car is crazy, Personally seen it many times and didn't cut a corner on the entire car. Flawless. Do your self a favor and throw that stock VE manifold in the garbage and AT LEAST scoop yourself up a 2.5" SSAC header. They make good power for the $$ they cost. Nuff said.

If you want to spend $700 go ahead and get a ssac 2.5 header and a nitrous kit. For the same price you can make more power!

I prefer to spend the $700. Tried a SSAC and didnt get any gains. The reason why I asked about the difference between performance of the stock and the Fugi is because I see where the designs are similar so I was wondering what gave the added performance?

I was hoping someone who compare Diameter of primaries/secondaries and length etc.

Peace

Have you ever had a set of cast iron VE primaries and Fuji primaries side by side?? They are identical! The design is the same, the collectors are the same, the pipe sizes are the same (or at least very very close)

Now the secondaries are a different story, but also the easy bit to make. I was running 20v stock primaries and secondaries, and was quite disapointed, put on a 3" dump pipe and made an extra 10kw atw (stock 20v secondaries have a cat right at the end of the collector tho.

Im now running p11ve primaries, and custom 1 7/8 (47mm) secondaries, with a 60mm burns collector copy, and a taper cone to 3" exhaust.

I had the car booked in to get dyno'd to see the difference, but i can tell you the difference is huge on the road, the top end power over 7k is very noticable. Ive been having massive ecu problems the last few weeks, so the dyno has been on hold.

We have a dyno day coming up in early october for all the modded and stockish ve engines, and there will be some interesting comparisons.
