Keeping A/c with VE
Hey guys maybe you can help me out here...
I am planning on swapping my VE over to a nicer shell soon.Currently the car I am driving has had the a/c removed and there is obviously no compressor.
I know the diehard HP nuts say leave it off,but I want a/c if possible.
I am in FL,thats why I want to keep the a/c in the new car when I swap in the VE,so I would love to hear from anyone who has kept the a/c in their VE b13.
I have searched(here and there,if you know what I mean:rolleyeswith no real luck.
My questions are:
1.Can I use the DE compressor,or do I need to find one from a VE? Ido know that the DE uses R12(highport) and the VE was r134.
2.Can I use the DE A/C lines,too?
3.Belt options,or sizes with the a/c?
4.Anything else I may be missing here?
Any suggestions or help on this would be much appreciated.
