i am buying a vvl. i know they come with the ecu. what else do i need to swap it in my nx?

There is no need to buy and use the factory ECU. it is a waste of time and will get you know where.

Just buy a VE motor, get a Calum ECU, and use your stock sr20de harness.

how much do the calum ecu's go for?

look in the calum section in the vendors area. I believe the standard ecu is $180 and the realtime is $360. Somewhere around there anyways. The swap is pretty straight forward. Look in the VVL faq and there is two installs on highport cars like yours. There is a few minor mods that need to be done like making as coil bracket and getting some heater hoses. I have the napa part number for the one hose youll need if you'd like it. Read the writeups and it will make the swap all that much easier.

can you send me the part number? i would like to have everything ready when i swap it in so i could just do it all at once.
